About Us

Payglide is a New York based company founded in 2009 out of the need for a better solution in the ecommerce space.

There are plenty of CRM and shopping cart tools available on the internet. Some of the free, some of the paid. The problem with most of them is the simple fact they're built from the old school mindset that people want to 'shop online'. And more precisely, they want to shop at your store online.

There's a problem with that logic, and it's that problem that's allowed elite marketers to make millions online since the conception of ecommerce.

Most people don't really want to shop online. They merely want answers, solutions and [the right] products delivered to them in a couple clicks.

And while the companies that organize and define information delivery continue to improve their methods, the demands of the consumer increase. More time is spent using a search engine to find exactly what is desired as opposed to "browsing" through a generic candle store to see if they happen to have your favorite scent. "That's what the search engine is supposed to do!"

Many of you reading this already understand this phenomena and its implications related to the value of SEO and product information. But when you start looking into this further you begin to see direct response processes emerging by the mere nature of the consumer's desire.

"Give me what I want, now.", "Service my need, now.", "If you have something else to say- say it, now."

Payglide is built upon this understanding- that regardless of the starting point, be it an advertisement or a natural search result, consumers are demanding a tailored solution. And this logic takes the 'I need a web store' mindset and tosses it [most of- but not all] out the window in lieu of a campaign based sales process.

Campaign based sales processes are processes whereby products are specifically matched to a solution. Campaigns are optimized from a business perspective by adding in the appropriate pre-transaction upsells and then linking to secondary campaigns (post-transaction upsells), also known as a one-time offers.

The campaign structure must match the buyer's expectation and needs. And it's critical the marketing messages built for each campaign step never violate buyer trust as that can have brand damaging effects.

While campaign based sales processes are a little more challenging to build (it not just a matter of slapping an image, price and 1 sentence on the web), they can prove to be substantially more profitable.
